YDC Product Troubleshooting Guide : Set YpsoPump to storage status and back into operation

Problem

In rare cases with Bluetooth connectivity issues, it can help to put the YpsoPump into storage status and then put it back into operation, to solve the connectivity issues.

Actions

Set the YpsoPump to storage status and then put it back into operation:

  • Remove the infusion set from the body
  • Set YpsoPump to stop mode
  • Remove the battery
  • Wait at least 5 minutes
  • Press the function button to check whether the storage mode is active. No display appears on the touchscreen.
  • Put the YpsoPump back into operation.
    • Insert the battery
    • Self-test is being carried out
    • Set the time and date
    • The YpsoPump is then in stop mode.
    • A threaded rod return followed by priming has to be performed to put the insulin pump back into operation.
