User reports frequent connectivity issues:
Please try the following steps on the phone:
(Re-)Enable Location Accuracy
Swipe down from the top of the screen
Touch and hold Location
From “Location services”, select “Google Location Accuracy”
Turn Improve Location Accuracy on (if already set to “on” turn off & on again)
Make sure location services remain “on” during the pairing process
(Re-)Enable Bluetooth Scanning
Swipe down from the top of the screen
Touch and hold Location
Select Improve accuracy -> Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning.
Turn Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning on (if already set to “on” turn off & on again)
Clear Bluetooth Data
Access the phone settings
Tap on "Apps"
Tap on the three vertical dots at the top right
Select "show system apps"
Select the Bluetooth app
Go to Storage > Clear data
After the above is done, go to the app and start the pairing process again.
General tips:
Restart phone once per day
Ensure that the phone has enough free storage space
Remove no longer used Bluetooth devices (Dexcom TX or other) from the phone’s Bluetooth list
Make sure to close other background apps apart from the Dexcom app if they are not needed.
