- Have you acknowledged the pairing request on the phone
- What was displayed on the screen; was it ‘Now connecting to transmitter Wait 30min‘
- Is this the first time you are linking this Transmitter

- Is Location on the smart phone turned on (device privacy or security settings)
- Are parental controls set on the smart phone; if YES confirm these do not prevent pairing

Questions to be documented
- NOTE pump SN, Phone model & OS; Is phone model and OS on the compatibility list http://www.dexcom.com/compatibility; select country of residence and Dexcom G6 App

Actions
- Update the CamAPS FX App to the latest version available on Google Play
- On the smart phone, turn Bluetooth off and on
- Remove any transmitters no longer in use from the phone Bluetooth; unpair them by going to Settings ‑>Connections‑>Bluetooth
- On the smart phone, clear Bluetooth cache (Settings -> Apps->Show System Apps->Bluetooth->Storage->Clear cache)
- Power cycle the smart phone
- Re-pair the transmitter by going to the App Main Menu and selecting the transmitter Serial Number in blue; re-enter the Transmitter Serial Number
- If above fails, link the transmitter to Dexcom receiver (if available) or Dexcom G6 app (on the same and different phone) to check for transmitter fault; if unsuccessful the transmitter is likely to be at fault and should be replaced. Report to Dexcom (RGA)
- If spare transmitter available, try to pair it. If pairing successful, then the transmitter is at fault and needs to be replaced. Report to Dexcom (RGA)
- If spare transmitter not available, and transmitter had been working previously, replace the sensor and try pairing again
- If the second sensor fails, the transmitter is likely to be at fault and both sensor and transmitter should be replaced. Report to Dexcom (RGA)
